For the third day, rain showers continued to plague the Auto Club Speedway in Southern California in Fontana, Calif., on Sunday forcing NASCAR to postpone the conclusion of the Auto Club 500 until Monday. Drivers completed 87 laps, 39 shy of the halfway mark, before the rains began to fall over the 1.5-mile speedway. NASCAR officials attempted to dry the track for nearly five hours, but cold temperatures and damp conditions prohibited them from being successful.
Dale Jarrett and the UPS Team will restart the race from the 31st position after starting the event from the 37th spot. The race is scheduled to restart at 1 p.m. EST
